Hi, I am Dil. I carry a heavy burden of multiple mental and physical disorders, including General Anxiety Disorder, OCD, and Hyper Sensitivity, among others.
The weight of these afflictions has been known to crush the strongest of souls, and I am no exception. The year 2016 marked the beginning of my descent into darkness, as I was struck by my first-ever panic attack while returning from a simple trip to the grocery store.
From that moment on, my life was never the same. Each day became a battleground, and every moment a struggle to control the paralyzing fear that threatened to consume me.
Despite my desperate attempts to control my thoughts and emotions, I found myself sinking deeper and deeper into the abyss until I learned the hard way that fighting against the current only leads to drowning. But through sheer grit and determination, I discovered a way to rise above the chaos and take control of my life once again.
Amidst the chaos and despair of my darkest hours, a tiny flame of hope flickered in my heart. With each passing day, that flame grew stronger, until it burned bright enough to illuminate the path to my salvation.
And so, I started this blog, not just to document my journey, but to offer a beacon of hope to those lost in the shadows of mental and physical disorders. The road has been long, winding, and treacherous, but it has taught me invaluable lessons about myself and my mental health.
I have learned that the darkest moments in life can be transformed into sources of strength and resilience if only we are brave enough to face them. So if you find yourself struggling with the weight of the world on your shoulders, know that you are not alone. Reach out for help, for there is always someone out there willing to listen and guide you towards the light.
I wrote this blog and book to help others who can’t share their feeling with others.
I want to share my story with you in the hopes that it will help you understand yourself or your loved one better. And if there’s anything I can do to help make your life easier, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me.
